Have a great time even if the weather is not perfect. I have many memories of wet English holidays!! (Thats not the reason we left England but sometimes I wonder why we Brits love it so much)

My daughter is also camping in Derbyshire , this is only her second time , the first time she went the river burst its banks when they were in the cinema , the cars were under water , hers was slightly higher up the slope so it went to the top of the wheels , they had to be taken to a hotel for the night ,her chidren were very frightened , it cost them over £100 they didn,t even have a toothbrush .At the time she said she would never go again , she then decided to give it another go.
She rang me yesterday to say it hadn,t stopped raining at all , her husband is talking about coming home and selling the tent , It,s a huge one with seperate bedrooms , they have all the equipment they need , it,s such a shame .
