Garden Catalogue

The worst thing that could happen to me is a garden catalogue coming through the door, well the one that i’ve ordered from before (Bakker) sent a catalogue, (don’t you find that if you order from any catalogue, you get them for ever)
I’ve put on my wish list:
Giant Hibiscus ‘Luna’
Passiflora Collection
Fuchsia ‘New Millennium’
Giant Fuchsia Collection
Butterfly Bush ‘Flower Power’
I won’t tell you how much all this will cost, but I’ll split the order into 3, then it won’t seem as much. I will also look on other sites to see if i can get some of the plants cheaper. This will not stop me going to garden centres.

Gail, that butterfly bush is lovely....I've been eyeing it for some time now but over here from the catalogues it is quite pricey. I love it though....it is getting closer to my breaking down and just ordering one. ;o)

Dear Gilli, the photo doesn't do it justice. It's a pity that you don't live nearer, you could have had a cutting. The Buddlieas over here grow like weeds, so i'm sure that this one would take. The price over here is £7.95, but you don't see this particular colour growing everywhere.
Go for it Gilli, just leave the chocolate or the wine or something out for a couple of weeks : )

You're right about the catalogues coming regularly once you've placed an order! I ordered some seed potatoes from Thompson and Morgan in early Feb and I've received 3 plant catalogues from them since.

Paul ... don't you find that there is always something in the catalogues that you think you want. I've just ordered some Fuschias from Thompson & Morgan, I could have done without them, but they look so good. : )

Yes, I bought a collection of hardy fuschia (Dollar Princess, Delta's Sarah and Shrimp cocktail) a couple of years ago mand they've been great! I do usually find something I need(alright then, WANT) much to Julie's(my wife) frustration.

Paul, Your wife will appreciate all the effort that you are putting in to make the garden look good, It's quite hard work looking through catalogues, wondering if that plant would look good there, or better over there ....... : )

It's even worse when they arrive in January - there's nothing else to distract you from looking at them!
