Well not done a lot in the garden today – well nothing at all. I’ve washed the car and mowed my wife’s nans lawn instead then we went out for dinner.
afterwards we went to a garden center, I’ve seen some of the plants that have been mentioned here and am still thinking about what to put in the middle.
At the moment, I am leaning towards a plant/tree that grows like an umbrella shape or cascades down a bit like a waterfall but I dont know which one or even if there is one.
Well thats it for now will update tomorrow on more improvements or decisions.
idea’s for bedding plants, centre pieces and what to put on the two large squares very welcome

The Kilmarnock willow is an almost perfect natural umbrella shape and doesn't grow too high? Pretty, hardy, with 'pussy willows' in spring and nice fresh green leaves. Just a thought....

Cotoneaster hybridus pendulus is an attractive small weeping tree, small white flowers then later lots of lovely red berries.
