wow! Dawn, what is that huge plant with the pink flowers against the house wall in the penultimate photo.

It looks like Phlox!! and look at that beautiful Alstro Indian Summer! all is looking amazing...and how inviting is that swimming pool? I could just do with a dip in there.....

I wouldn't call it great weather though. It's far too uncomfortable and I have to stay indoors when there's such a lot to do - what a waste of time lol …

Thank you. Karen, it’s campunala lactifolia, close up of it is the 5th photo. I’ve been lazy, actually picked a book up, too hot to work, kept cool in the pool, our stay at home holiday . I know Hywel, it’s restrictive.

I too have been finding it tricky to work in. But I started about 5pm yesterday and had 5 hours. Went to bed at 11.30 and there was still light in the sky. I hate going to bed when its still light!

Lol...I’d forgotten all about Wimbledon can you believe? I’ve a head full of daughter’s wedding plans and also her leaving Scotland next month, plus the garden openings! But now you’ve reminded me...yay! Wimbly! :)

I was going to say...Dawn. That campanula is massive! I’d never have room for a plant that size here. But its stunning!
