You're welcome Amy.
I ordered from them yesterday and the brochure arrived today, with the 15% discount code, so I emailed them to say if only I'd placed the order after receiving the catalogue, they emailed back to say they would honour the discount, what great customer service.

Dawn they are very good like that.....they send us a catalogue every year, because we order from them, had quite a few roses only recently.....to do our tribute to David Austin border..... the roses have all come up and looking very healthy, was a tad worried about one of them, which I informed them about and they said if I wasn't entirely happy they would replace it, just let them know......I think we could squeeze another one if we tried......fancy Munstead Wood.......the catalogue is lovely isn't it! one of the best.

Oh Dotty, the brochure evens smells good (not of roses) just print lol, someone said the outer packaging is potato starch not plastic so can be composted.
Munstead Wood is on my wishlist for be next time.
I'm looking forward to seeing your rose border, a lovely sentiment to the great man. It's good to know they offer good customer service.
I guess you have Gertrude Jekyll? You'll know Munstead Wood was the name of her home.
I have a Facebook acquaintance on a gardening site, he's helped me alot on how to prune, feed and tie in so I'm hoping for better results this year, hence my climbers are now horizontal on trellis or obeklisk and pruned properly.

Dawn we do have Gertrude Jekyll, bought many years ago, mainly because Peter's Mum was a Gertrude!
The pruning can make all the difference, especially climbers, I have nothing to do with it lol!! we do feed well, but try not to spray, hence we get a lot of problems with black spot etc...
I look forward to seeing your roses this year...

So Peter is the pruner?! :) lucky you. Yes I now understand pruning is vital and due to me being scared of doing it right, my roses got a mess. My ‘friend’ says they are gross feeders and like lots of water so if well fed and healthy disease is less and he uses milk spray for black spot and fungal infectious - whole milk mixed 1 milk to 10 parts water. I live in hope ....

Dawn let me know how you do regarding the milk!! I have heard a lot of breeders use a garlic mix as well!....roses do need more water than people realise.....and they are very hungry feeders, we vary our feeding, they do get a good dose of organic farmyard manure, as well as bottled feed! costs a small fortune, eat better than we do!! lol'(. ❛ ᴗ ❛.)◉‿◉(•‿•)
