I haven’t posted many photos on here for ages, so thought some of you may be interested to see what my garden is like at the moment.
FRONT GARDEN
Rose by my front door
Deutzia Rosea. Sadly just about to go over but still looking good.
Rose up the trellis between two of the downstairs windows. Lavender below just showing flower buds.
BACK GARDEN
Long shot of the main back garden.
The well!
Weigela, Spirea, Pieris, Lavender & Rosa ‘The fairy’.
Main garden from opposite direction.
Looking through the arch.
Azalea, Heuchera, Hellebore and geranium under an apple tree and Berberis.
Another Azalea and Heuchera next to Box balls.
Azalea, Pieris and Hosta next to the arch.
SIDE GARDEN
Rhododendron, two Clematis on the old conifer trunk and Alchemilla.
Through the arch from the opposite direction.
Seating area with two standard Cytisus which are almost out of control!
And finally, The ugly bit!

It's all lovely, even the ugly bit. Nowhere near as overgrown as some bits of mine. Keep trying to get caught up but never seem to. Smashing garden.

I've never seen a standard Cytisus before - they look great! Lovely planting everywhere.

Thanks everyone.
Lincslass, all my Heucheras are in the ground. The H. 'Creme Caramel' have done really well while the red ones struggle a bit. I don't have any in pots so can't compare.
Thorneyside, I doubt I will ever get on top of the ugly bit. That's the bit that gets all the nettles, brambles and weed from next door. I try to keep it down as much as possible because it's behind the side border, but...!
Thanks Hywel. Glad you found it interesting.
Paul, All the roses appear to be doing reasonably well this year. I'm still waiting for all the David Austin ones to burst out (I have 7). The Heucheras obviously like the spots they're planted in although they are susceptible to rust. Creme Caramel especially.
Thanks Sheila. Believe it or not, the stakes holding them up are larger than the ones for the apple trees! They have become very straggly now, partly due to my bad pruning at the beginning I think! And they get battered by wind which has bent them out of shape. I'm not sure I would have standards again. But glad you like them.

You have a lovely garden, I love the way you have set it all out and the standards are really special, I nipped out between showers just looking and was wondering whether to try some of my Heucheras in the garden as all are in pots, seeing the size of yours has set me off again,lol...it all is a credit to you, thanks for sharing....
