Deer in the garden

Yesterday I looked out of my window only to find a deer very happyly munching away at all my plants .It seem to enjoy eating my winter pansys.I did not want to go outside and spook it because if it blotted down the garden it could have run into my green house and hurt its self. So I did manage to get a couple of photos to show you

Very cute the first time around, but not something you want to experience on a regular basis, especially if you value your prized plants.

Great photos Donna. Very cute. He is so small. Is this an adult? He is quite different looking to the deer we have here.
I agree with Louise though.....If you have roses, he'll eat all your buds in the spring. :o)

Is that a Muntjac? It looks different to the ones we get in the woods around here. I'd love to see one - but NOT in the garden, as I think they eat most plants, don't they? Not just pansies.....
