Yes Mageth things can age beautifully in a garden. The Lutchens bench in the orchard was very inviting and by the time I found it the sun had come out.

I darent sit on my old bench but it looks just right in the garden. Im dropping hints for next birthday though! Sussex is a beautiful county and we are very fortunate with all these lovely gardens to inspire us, or just get a sense of the history. My children are both off on school trips at the same time this year so hubby and I are preparing a list of places to visit while they are away. bless the person who thought up extending the cirriculum! lol
