Introduction

As a newcomer I feel I must introduce myself.
I am a Welsh-born emigre living in Dorset and celebrated my 55th wedding anniversary this year.
My husband is the gardener ; I am the one who creates! (too many plants; too many plant pots ; too expensive heating costs ; I create, but it has absolutely no effect.)
As a result we have nearly an acre garden where once there was a field. Because the ground is acidic we have lots of camellias, magnolias, azaleas and rhododendrons, plus the heather which is indigenous to the heathland around our home.
My husband loves Acers and we once had them dotted around the garden. Then I came up with the idea of grouping them all together. The result is a little “forest” of glorious colour, especially in Autumn.
I am so pleased I have found this website. That’s the fun of a PC : one never knows what one is going to find.
