I actually went round the garden the other day taking pictures of our various Spring shrubs.
This is the bottle brush that we have on the terrace. If I remember rightly we bought it years ago from a grower in Cornwall. He specialised in Australian plants.
This year it seems to look really nice!!

The bottle brush is stunning. I have one which I have never seen in flower yet, so am hoping this year! It's nowhere near as forward as yours.

My other half has asked me to point out that this is a standard, in a large pot on the terrace. It is kept in an unheated greenhouse over the Winter.

How amazing. I saw this tree in Egypt and took seeds but I think Scotland is not the best place to grow it.
