Steragram: We bought a field in 1962 and somewhere we have images of the field on those slides. Must try and find some. I cannot take credit for the planting but I did help to pay for the plants!!!

Hywel: On the news tonight it said the Autumn colours this year are spectacular because of the unseasonal weather. So morrow we are off to the New Forest and we hope to take some photos.

Really lovely Eirlys, good choice of planting and the arranging of the shrubs and trees has provided you with some grand colours and shades for this time of the year, it must be a real joy looking out and across your garden..

Lincslass : We have a Swamp Cypress ( Taxodium distichum) and a Gingko Biloba and the former looks beautiful at the moment. Have a feeling that we should be doing something about the height of the trees! One was struck by lightning but the secondary branch took over and now you wouldn't know it was "second best"!
