Orchid Close-Up

I was so impressed with Hywel’s close-up images of the succulents that I had a look for some I took years ago.
My OH bought me a Fuji digital camera when they were fairly new and, of course, I photographed everything that kept still. Learning to use the different “applications” gave me a lot of fun and produced some nice images, we thought.
I have not been able to find the Seed head photo as yet but this is an orchid one that we rather liked. It looks a bit alien, we think.

It's not me! It's the orchid and the camera! I don't know why I replaced the Fuji. Oh yes, the Casio was much smaller. That was a super little camera even though I didn't know Casio did cameras. I have bought two second hand ones on the Net as replacements but they lack the sharpness mine had.

That's a brilliant photo - no wonder you were pleased with it! Agree,it does look alien. It reminds me of flowers designed to trap flies.
