RAIN!!!!!!!!!!!!

A few days ago I read “lincslass’s” blog about rain and wished it were here.
Last night, after nearly three months drought, we had a wonderful thunderstorm. Lots of rain and it rained well into late morning today.
My water butts were down to a couple of inches but now they’re full.
Well, as the old Dave Mallett song goes..“Grain for grain, sun and rain, Find my way in nature’s chain:Till my body and my brain, Tell the music of the land”…
The meadow looks greener already and all the plants are ‘perking up’. It’ll mean more weeding but who cares?
