WHAT A MONEY SAVER

Hi GoY. freinds,
I’m still here, when I can do some growing and gardening I’m sure I’ll be talking to all more often. Something happened today that I must tell you about. Walking around the indoor town center is something I am not too happy about, but this time I decided to go into a shop to see what was on offer for gardening. Because I have had some good deals in there before, I couldn’t believe my luck. I only spent £20 and come away with 8 packs of 5in pots with 6 in each pack, a 3 pack of triple pot holders or can be used as a 3 planter, garden twine, packs of pot flowers to grow Freesia’s double and single 25 in each pack,( there isn’t that many in a packet of seeds),2 packs of lilies one oriental and another asiatic 8 in each pack and finally 5 packs of weed control fabric 1.5×5 mtr.
I hope I don’t sound like a skinflint, but you all can see how much that lot would have cost buying them at G/C. For those of you that like to save money on this sort of stuff, they were all bought from poundland. I do hope there is one near to where you live.

Well done Frank! Being so far from town has its disadvantages, that's for sure. I miss out on bargains - by the time I've heard about them and managed to get to town - they've gone!

Thanks all I will try Aldi and Lidl, and any other bargain shops. Especially this time of year, you can keep spending and spending, it does get too much. Well a packet of freesias was nearly £4 and wouldn't be in flower untill late this year or early next, I bought 50 small bulbs for £2. somthing can't be right.
( I must stop moaning) Frank
