lovely deida, my nan grew these, amazing how the colour is differant depending on soil, the seed heads look good to, bet they would look nice sprayed for xmas in arrangment,

Lovely Deida.....I love this type of Hydrangea but they don't do very well here. Most of the H. macrophylla types aren't quite hardy enough. I just planted a lace cap type which is a little tougher.

Lovely, especially at this time of year.

This pic has cheered me up after today's cold weather.

I didn't know it was possible to get these colors in a hydrangea. I thought you could get pink or blue depending on what was put in the soil. How do you get this color?

Hi Valerie the original colour is pink.in autumn the flowerheads are changing ,and with the sun on it,the colours are looking even more vibrant
