Thank you Dotty and Pamd. Yes, I went two weeks before Christmas to see my parents and brother. The temp was between 22 - 24 degrees. I always end up in the botanical gardens. I know the curator, so I go behind the scene and places where the public cannot go. I consider myself quite lucky. Happy New Year to you too........ :-)

You're welcome. I like the Megaskepasma erythrochlamys - Brazilian Red Cloak in the upper left corner with the large red bracts and large leaves. I have a 16 year old plant blooming in my front yard.

Do you know what the purple-leaf plant is in the upper left side of the photo? (it's above the Brazilian Red Cloak)

Delonix , I do not know the name of the plant, but will find out the next time I go back to Gibraltar, which will be in May.........

Thank you Sandra. I go to Gibraltar twice a year, and every time I always pop over to the Alameda Gardens, and yes, I'm lucky to be able to have a look behind the scene.....:-)

they say better late than never...I finally get here 4 months later!! lol... Wow... that's beautiful...looks like everything has been in place for a very long time..lovely and mature.

I am the same Lori, sometimes I spend a while without being on GOY. Thank you once again, but I should be posting some pictures very soon :-)
