Thank you, he can't hang on to the feeder so he sort of hovers till he can grab a seed or knock some to the ground. :o)

Great photo of a ground feeder! One or two of mine are getting to grips with the hanging feeders, but it doesn't look easy.

I have only seen the males doing it so far, the females just wait for the bits to drop, and get there first!
