yes Eileen~got lots of primlets and Hellebores that I have just bought in a big clump in the back garden before sorting into pots etc so they are really loving this sea of flowers.
I have just joined the Bumble bee Conservation Trust in Scotland and if they campaign for more Govt funding to look into Bee decline they should get it asap!

All of my flowers are under at least 3 feet of snow now.
Today some of you may go gardening, but here it is a good day for beating the ice out of the driveway!!! Yayyyyyyyyyyyyyy.

I had a bee visit here today as well,they must like the crocus,s the one I seen was having a great time collecting pollen in mine..... Great photo Eileen

Had bees on my heather a couple of days ago, but gone by the time i got my camera. was good to see them though.

Not seen any bees here although I haven't got much in the flowerbeds YET!!!!! Have just written something about beekeeping on my site if anyone is interested.

We shall be cutting the grass for the first time this weekend and hopefully plants some grass seed on the bald patches. I must get a clump of clover to plant in the middle for the bees. Perhaps someone around will let me dig out a bit.

so do I Irish It reminds me of lazy Summer days when I was young and the grown ups did the gardening although grandad used to encourage me to help out and guided me about watering the plants and what to cut when.

We didn't have a television until I was nine years old Irish but they were happy days. times were tough but we all managed and families lived close together and we had some super times all together.

I remember going over the the park with a fishing net and catching sticklebacks to take home for the fishtank.from the lake there and we used to feed the ducks and swans too
