Skippy I have been watching that bird all day and wondering how his little feet aren,t frozen , it,s amazing isn,t it .......!

Janey he arrived one day and didn,t leave , he is beautiful and so tame comes right up to you for grain , he sits on the shed roof all day looking in the kitchen window ,every time we go outside he flys down to see if he can have some more food , i,m worried he will get to fat . LOL he has been with us about 2 months now . :0)

~could he be someone's in the locality~ does anyone keep pigeons near you?

No Arlene... Snowball hasn,t a ring on his leg , we don,t know of anyone nearby that keeps doves or pigeons , although there are some pigeons that seem to live on the top of some derelict maltings buildings up the road , we have seen racing pigeons amongst them , which have proberly lost their way . Snowball may have flown this way with them !

No TT Snowball flys up into some tall conifers on the border of our garden at night . Yes I would hate a sparrow hawk to catch it as I have seen one hold down a pigeon in the garden , it,s a terrifying site .......!

Your gonna have to have a dove cote specially made for him.....aw!
