Bottom garden

This is the other smaller area at the bottom of the hill, with the wood at the back, love it down here at the moment its really sheltered from any winds and no midges yet that plague us in the summer :-)

Thankyou Dawn :-), the shrubs on the hill at the left are getting a bit out of hand but hey they like it there so I let them do their own thing lol and less room for weeds!!! , the ceonothus is lovely when it flowers.

You know what Kathy, when we have so much going on in the garden, like you and I do, if shrubs want to do their own thing, so what. With having the space, I feel that if you neglect plants a bit, we sometimes benefit as they look more natural unpruned. Love the spring ceonothis, my Concha is by my back door, love those dark blue blooms.

Hi Kathy.. Super pic.
I've added to GoYpedia.
That looks a lovely part of your garden...
Is it as peaceful as it seems from the photo ?

So true Dawn its nice to have the space to let them go a bit mad, behind the tree trunk in the centre of the picture is another huge viburnum 'Eve Price' that was planted much later than the others and its huge must be good soil on there as everything grows so fast.
The ceonothus are lovely aren't they, I lost a couple of really big ones in the cold winters and this one looked a bit rough for a while but it recovered thankfully :-)
Thankyou Klahanie it is my favourite place for a cuppa :-)
Very peaceful Tt allotments behind a tall hedge at the right and an empty plot the other side that the owners haven't built on yet, there is a road behind the wood but it doesn't get very busy :-)

Kathy, looks lovely, maybe something chilling in an ice bucket and a couple of glasses and it would make a nice picture for an RHS garden.
