Thats great...ive got a belfast sink and am looking for ideas...is tht a calla lily and is it just put in the water? and what other plants are in there...I dont want too many as my sink is smaller than your bath.

Cookygirl it's an arum lily, in a pot with gravel, there's some yellow iris in there too and a water lily that's been in there for years and only flowered for the first time last summer. :o)

How has your bath fared through this Winter, our small one tried to freeze over a couple times, so we had to keep an eye on it, we have three baby fish in that one.

Hi Sue all's well thanks, it froze over a few weeks back and I just left it but I cut back all the plants in it yesterday and the fish were fine! They look bigger than when I saw them last year, it pleases me that this simple little set up looks after itself! :))

That's good news, Fran, we haven't seen our little ones yet, the bigger ones in the pond are doing fine...

We're so looking forward to the better weather, so fed up with Rain lol.

great idea - how does it manage in winter, with cold able to get at it from all sides as well?

there's been at least three baths on offer on our local Freecycle network, I had to exercise heroic restarint not to have a garden full of ponds!
