Thanks - I should be able to find the 'wrapper', it's up in the g'house still (I hope!) so I'll try to find it and tell you. I planted 5 new dahlias in pots in the spring, and my favourite 'David Howard' hasn't produced any shoots at all! Grrrrrrrr......

I knew it!....One of my new ones this year, which hasn't flowered yet, is 'peach brandy'...now i see what i have to look forward to....:>)

I threw him away. Strangely, the tubers were fat and looked healthy. They just didn't grow at all!

I have two others in the border - one with dark leaves but shrivelled buds, no idea why, and one tall one with healthy buds. :-)
