I think that's the right name, similar to Stellata, but this is pink & the flowers are slightly bigger. It has been beautiful for years even though we have cut it back a couple of times, which, normally I think magnolias do not like!! :)

I do potter Lorilyn & that's about all I do these days!! Try to keep it tidy at least!! Still love it though.

In spite of it liking acid soil it has done very well there, I guess it can't be too fussy!! We are on limey soil I suppose, with all this cotswold stone around here - quarried in this area too.
