I havent grown Dahilas until this year was given a pot from my son for my birthday was so pleased with them i| will be buying more for next year;0)

16 Sep, 2011

I know many folk have to store them during the Winter ... being so far South I leave mine in the ground ... just ensure they are mulched over ... there are some lovely dark-stemmed ones around now too ... :o))

16 Sep, 2011

Will take your advise, mine had a dark stem and lovely red bloom will have to dig out the label havent a clue to its name though;0)

16 Sep, 2011

They sound similar to the ones in my Mum's front garden ... lots of blooms on the red ones ... less on the apricot ones ... hers were bought as a mixed selection ... no named varieties! ... She will save seed from both as I would like some myself ... :o)
