Very lovely rose, you must be pleased with that one.

Beautiful with your Photinia Karen :o))

Yes, it works well with the photinia Annie. Thanks everyone...it's a good one! Hope you all enjoy yours !

That is the perfect rose.

Oooh, do you think Oji? Well, I'm not sure about that, but I'm glad you like it! :D

That is beautiful. How tall is it, Karen? Mine grow to at least 6-7' no matter what I do!

18 Jul, 2012

I'm the same Melchi...can't stop em growing to about 6-7' high, no matter what I do. Except the 'ground cover' one which is 'only' about 4' tall and the beautiful 'compassionate friends' which is a similar colour to this one but only about 2' high and very disease resistant too with lovely perfume. So far, Qu.E is about 5' tall! What are we doing wrong I wonder? lol

I don't think we are really! When my grandmother had it in her own garden many years ago it grew like that. The shorter ones sound nice - it's such a beautiful rose, but hard to appreciate above one's head! Good at the back of a border though, and from a distance.

Yes! Well, this one is at the back out of harms way. I wonder if I chuck too much chicken manure in there you know!

19 Jul, 2012

I've used chicken manure pellets on the other border, but not that one! (Every time I use them, I vow "never again" because they smell so vile! They are good, though!)

They drive my terrier mad! She goes around eating them....yuck!

19 Jul, 2012

Oh, how horrible!!!

19 Jul, 2012

Yes, sorry Melchi...too much information eh? ;)

20 Jul, 2012

Lol!

Not her favourite food though....that would be rabbit droppings!

:-O

20 Jul, 2012

I know...but she's a dog when all's said and done, and a Terrier at that. ;)

20 Jul, 2012

Well, we have to give her that, don't we? :-) And what's life all about if you can't have a bit of what you fancy? Lol!
