Thank you ~ It is hardy Kathy but it does recommend mulching in the winter, it's my first year with it I expect I will know by next year if it survives :o)

Amy, its lovely...would you not be as well to take some cuttings...It would be heartbreaking to lose it...Gone on to my favs.....:>)

Lovely Amy. I'm only just "getting into" Salvias - saw S. 'Waverly' in the new Gardens Illustrated yesterday, and dashed out and bought one from the chap who'd recommended it!

Thank you all :o) Sheila I like Salvias a lot there are so many different ones to choose from plus they are trouble free and mainly flowering all summer , I will be looking out for the S.Waverly , I have some S.'Cambridge blue' seeds if you would like some ,they are easily grown in the spring, I usually grow them each year because sometimes they don't survive the winter if it's very harsh !
