their little snow cloaks are opening ~ must be a bit warmer; they have been out for about a week now, but they look fuller ~ i can see them better from the window now.

anglesey abbey in cambridgeshire is lovely for snowdrops and even better they have those white birch trees - like an architectural picture - they are stunning!

You're right, Sticki. There is a lovely "winter walk" there, with bright Dogwood and Willow stems, Sarcococca bushes, and winter honeysuckle (I forget the Latin name). Well worth a visit.

It is the saddest part Sticki:(.
They are the real beauties....as if they have come out with the lanterns to brighten up the world.

i love the way you describe the plants ~ do you write poetry camillia? i know exactly what you mean ~ they are just like tiny lanterns with their fresh clear and simple shape

Thanks for the compliment Sticki.I do write poems and stories not in English but in my own language.I find it easier to express my emotion in my native language.

i think you should write in english too - then we could read it - you have a lovely way with words.
