Lovely display, David.

Beautiful pic.

Thank You!

They are in a pot in my front garden, Shirley, and they are the short variety "February Gold".Forgot to edit the photo title, so will do. :-))

25 Mar, 2011

Well, they're certainly short & sweet. : o ))

26 Mar, 2011

They certainly are, Shirley. We have the varieties "Fortune" and Golden Ducat" coming into bud now in the treasure chest, too. :-)

26 Mar, 2011

Lovely ... I'd like to see the treasure chest planted up with those ... that's a subtle hint for a photo please .. lol!

26 Mar, 2011

Can't wait for them to bloom, Shirley, lol! Of course, a pic, or two, will appear! :-))

Excellent ... have to go now ... clocks to change which means instruction manuals for the oven/microwave/home phone ... ye gods ... why do we have to do this twice a year? Ok ... I do know why but it infuriates me!

David:

Wow! Those are absolutely beautiful!

Thanks, Delonix! Am thinking of planting up another pot with bulbs of these in Autumn, as they do make for a very cheerful display in my small, south-facing, front garden.

This infuriates me, too, Shirley! Actually, I don't bother to change anything which doesn't adapt automatically, and it's my brain which adapts within hours. So, my car clock, mobile, and a few other things, only show the correct time for half the year - usually now, for Spring/Summer, lol!!

A lovely sight, always enjoy the sight of flowers in spring - the start of a new season- Brilliant...

Don't they just get the adrenaline flowing, Mark?

All the Very Best for the Begonias and Shows this year! :-)

27 Mar, 2011

The daffs have been lovely this year.

28 Mar, 2011

Those Daffs are fabulous, David! I have lots on my balcony as well.

29 Mar, 2011

"Have been"?? Linda?Hope tha they are not all over, yet! :-))

Great, Balcony!! Bet they are looking marvellous!! :-)

29 Mar, 2011

LOL David. The daffs are lovely........Yesterday I bought a honeysuckle and clematis. I have been painting the fence with preservative and thought it would be nice to have some plant coverage. I am writing the first story about Dusty flying to the seaside with Chang.

30 Mar, 2011

LOL, Linda! Glad that they are still with you. Strangely, I have also been fencing (not of the sword variety, though). Yesterday, I finally managed to replace 2 fence panels, which collapsed under the snow in the winter. I was planning to apply the preservative today but it is raining - typical!). I have also sown seeds of Clematis "Korean Beauty", which, according to the packet, will actually produce flowers this year, but, we shall see. They were sent to me by GOYer Arlene ages ago, and I recently found them. This will be perfect for my new fence, and also for the "Hint of the Orient" garden area I am currently working on at "The Haven".

Great to hear about the new story! Let us know when it is available. X
