I confess - I went and bought this one, as well - it's supposed to colour up in the summer, while the first one I got does it in the winter!

If you put them next to each other, yes. But they were bred by the same Nursery, so there's bound to be similarities.

A Double Delight!

One of my favorite colour Hebe's too.....

Do you have one Maureen?
2 Mar, 2010
If Maureen has 'Heartbreaker', she'll like this - and so would you, Dawn!

Beautiful. how hardy is it Barbara?
2 Mar, 2010
It's supposed to be - but time will tell. I had to replace a 'Heartbreaker' after two cold winters. The breeders 'claim' that these new ones are hardier.
Watch this space!

Where have I heard that one before ?

Oh dear - It's a case of if you don't try, you'll never know - so I tend to 'push the boundaries', living in hope.

Me too, must be mad......don't answer that lol

I'm doing it again with Helleborus lividus - it's only got two RHS stars, but there I go, planting them in the garden! I LIKE them - and just maybe they'll be OK. :-)

Nothing ventured.......

I bought two more of them as the first one looked silly on its own - and knocked the whole top off one of them! I couldn't believe what I'd done - or how, either! :-(((
6 Mar, 2010
Oh dear that is annoying, i expect you were really cross with yourself.....perhaps it will make it bushier?
6 Mar, 2010
I don't think so - the whole flower head bit fell off. There are just two leaves left. I stared in disbelief!
6 Mar, 2010
Oh dear, what a good thing you bought more than one plant?
8 Mar, 2010
Well - you're supposed to plant in odd numbers, aren't you......and I have to admit that groups do look better!
8 Mar, 2010
They do I agree, but if your garden is small like mine, you cannot do it, and it would limit me to the number of plants I could buy?
10 Mar, 2010
How big is your garden, Dd? Do you group your plants - in a different way, by shape or size?
10 Mar, 2010
Looks beautiful! How big does it grow?

Funny to see this one come around again, never did answer your question....it is very small B, I plant by colour mostly.....
19 Jul, 2012
Pip, it's a dwarf, so it really does stay less than 18" tall.
Why not, Dd. As long as you enjoy your colours, which you do...:-)))))

Lol.....
