they are slow carol, all my others not either ;o(

Mines still a baby , I'm hoping to have some flowers next year .... If I do Carole I will save seed as well in that way you will have two chances of getting some :o))

good luck, love sun and dont mind dry conditions ;o) any rust chop the leaf right off before it takes over

Tog i love it and guess what,,,, the hollyhock next to it has turned out to be black to lol, they were a mixed seed pack, 3 more to go, wonder what colour they will be ;o))

Wow..brilliant this..did you manage to get seeds? What works alongside this, it would seem pretty versatile in a border..I'd love something this dramatic

they come back each year guy, but can be prone to rust , i had 4 and taken two out as were covered in it, hollyhocks are lovely and tall, so need space, one of mine was over 7ft last year, look great in cottage garden borders, somewhere with lots of colour i think anyway, i didnt get seeds with having two left but you can get them easierly at Gc,
