So many flowers and fruits this year, have raised the canopy so that we can get more plants in the border....

I am a devil for raising canopies too! This is looking good. Mine is covered with flowers too. I just adore this plant. I would have half a dozen...perhaps I will!

I like the flowers and fruit. It grows to a pretty large, wide tree here in San Diego.

K have just bought one with pink flowers, had a pic on some time ago, you most probably saw it?
Delonix I would like to make the liqueur which is very potent I believe, made from the fruits!!

Yes, I've seen the one with pink flowers.
I didn't know you can make a liqueur from the from the fruits. I do know the fruit is edible; however, it's very mealy.

I think the fruit is horrible it needs alcohol to make it palatable.

I know there's some sweet varieties which are sold and grown in California. I've never tasted one, though. :>)
I they're best as bird food. LOL! :>)
