I am meant to do a butterfly count this week for the B trust all I have seen is a cabbage white !!

I saw 2 cabbage whites and nothing else Gg, gets worse every year.

Sat in the garden all yesterday evening, and was so pleased to see FOUR different butterflies (and one moth and some swallows! :))

Just four cabbage whites, one small tortoiseshell, a small skipper a couple of dozen meadow browns and the same for Adonis blues.

I think the overall loss of butterflies in our gardens is so sad.

Very low count though Sheila and almost no variety. Butterfly Conservation are offering half price membership at the moment £14 for a year.
