Another plant that has taken all summer to get going! But finally, my two metre tall C.ugandense is in full bloom.

Excellent photo and beautiful plant :o)))
How do you manage to get blue to still look so blue.
My camera makes it a bit washy blue and turns purple blue too ?

All summer to get going. It should have started flowering back in March. :>)

Thanks guys!
PA - to be honest it has got a little straggly this year as I put it out too early (and the summer hasn't really been warm enough).
Mushy - my camera struggles with some (visually identical even) blues. However, with this plant it comes out true if snapped in full sun or with low intensity flash.
Delonix - it was blooming beautifully in March as it was still in the conservatory!

It was until I put it outdoors in April!
