How nice to have them this early Spritz .. do you cut them down when they have finished to flower again in the autumn ?

4 Mar, 2009

No, I just cut the dead flower stems back. They seem to keep on flowering and flowering once they've got going! Great plants. :-)

Would you believe I can't grow this? Well I can, but the Bracknell slugs consider it their staple diet during the spring :-(

My snails nibbled the edges of several of the first flowers as they opened!

I've never had any success with these but I bought another one a few days ago. I like them and hope this one won't die on me.

I can't believe how much you have already flowering in your garden, but then you are in Somerset... Still crunching ice here in Nova Scotia.

Oh, dear. I would hate that... I hope that looking at our flowers helps to remind you that your cold conditions won't last for much longer (I hope).

This is amazing mine should be in flower in about a months time.
PS my slugs and snails tend to leave them alone!

You have trained your molluscs well, Olblueyes! LOL.
