Unnamed daylily

Unnamed daylily (Hemerocallis)

The last bloom to come, it was a little late season. This years were smaller than last. I just loved the creamy color, bought in flower last year.

Day lillies are real do gooders. I've planted a few of the smaller varieties in the garden and flower buds are still coming up on them.

They are Linda. I need mine to start early, these just barely came into bloom as the cool started setting in. I cut it back last year, so I'm leaving it alone this, and maybe some plastic to warm the earth earlier. I just love them, I want some better production.

I just cut the stems off containing the dead flowerheads and take off the leaves as they turn yellow. I feed them now and again with plant food that you add to the canful of water.
