Thanks! :>) This plant hasn't bloomed, yet...it's still too young.
Here's some photos of the sausage-like fruit I previously posted on GoY:

Hi Andy;
What I meant to ask in 1st comment was....are the sausages starting to form? AND 'will the sausage be Pork or Beef?' lol.
Just had a look on your link. They are amazing. They really do look like sausages. lol.
Flowers are really eyecatching too. :o)

Lindalooloo:
They're definitely pork sausages. lol :>)
It's too bad the the sausage-like fruit are not edible.
However, the fruits are used medicinally.

That's exciting! How long before it's mature enough to blossom and produce fruit?...err..sausages?

I think it takes from: 3 - 6 years before it matures enough to bloom. I'm not sure if it'll bloom in a pot, though.
My Sausage tree was started from a seed on March 17, 2010...so it has a few more years to bloom, yet.

Terratoonie:
It has put on a lot of growth this year with all the very hot weather. It has stopped growing now. I think the roots have filled the container. The smaller plants are still growing. I'll have to post more pics soon.
My little Sausage trees have not burned in the extreme heat waves, which amazes me. Even the one day we had temps over 100ºF (38ºC) for 9 hours straight! (from 11:00 a.m. - 8:00 p.m.)

Hi Delonix ...
The little Sausage Trees did well to survive in those high temperatures ! Too hot for many plants and humans !
That's good to know the little plants are still growing well. :o)

Yes, the little Sausage trees are doing very well outside, right now. We are under an "Excessive Heat Warning" through Wednesday. So many of my plants burned two weeks ago when we had the 2 days of 106ºF (41.1ºC) and another day of 100ºF (38ºC). The nights were so hot we had no relieve for about a week.
I want my 82ºF (28ºC) temp days back), this is normal for this time of year.
