I saw one of these on GOY a while back - and it went on my wish-list! :-)

I like this too, unusual.

:-)

I have a lovely Libertia, and was very pleased to see it had come through the winter.

29 Mar, 2010

Mine are OK as well, but they all have a few brown leaf-tips. I'll have to get busy with the scissors WHEN I have nothing else to do out there LOL.

30 Mar, 2010

30 Mar, 2010

30 Mar, 2010

Meant to be, and the others have come through with just a few brown leaf tips!

31 Mar, 2010

Lovely change from the plain green.

31 Mar, 2010

how big is it ? it looks small or is it just a trick of the camera?

31 Mar, 2010

I like this too...:>)

31 Mar, 2010

I have just got to get one of these! What colours! I love love love it Spritz!!! :~))

31 Mar, 2010

It's normal size for a Libertia, Sbg,

Glad you all approve! :-)))))

MOTINOT - what have you done to yourself????????

1 Apr, 2010

saw them today in 3lt pots for about £5 is that reasonable?

5 Apr, 2010

Mine was cheaper - which was very surprising at that Fair, but that's about right for a GC price.

5 Apr, 2010

I cant decide wether to get some. Dont know where i would put them really.

5 Apr, 2010

They have to have sun, or they sulk and refuse to flower. Does that help?

5 Apr, 2010

yes that decides it then. the only reliably sunny bed has a L grandiflora in it. So I'll give them a miss ;o(

5 Apr, 2010

Sorry.......

5 Apr, 2010

yes me too...........

5 Apr, 2010

:-((

5 Apr, 2010

As I don't have space for all the sun lovers I would like I appreciate seeing them in other people's gardens - I'm just glad they share them with us on here. :-)))

6 Apr, 2010

I saw an all golden one today with a name with gold in it. for a similar price. do you know it spritz?

6 Apr, 2010

Yes - I've got one in the back garden called L. peregrinans 'Goldfinger'.

6 Apr, 2010

thats the one.

6 Apr, 2010

It's like the others after the winter - I shall have to snip a few brown bits off a few leaves. :-((

6 Apr, 2010

i think this is the plant i wrote in a previous ? asking--- had it for a year and it was fantastic but after winter it looks floppy and stems coming out-have cut back to about 12 inches no not to a rule--------- hope this does pick up

18 Apr, 2010

Thanks. my Libertias didn't 'flop', the ends of the leaves went brown. I've been out snipping with scissors to improve the 'look' of them!

18 Apr, 2010

well im gonna give it another week or 2 then its binned or maybe might put it in shady corner of front garden

19 Apr, 2010

No, Davey - it MUST have sun!

19 Apr, 2010

ok ta will move it into full sun but i think its dying

cheers davey

20 Apr, 2010

Oh dear - that's a shame. :-(

20 Apr, 2010

good morning henry

well its got till the weekend then if not its binned but might put it in fornt garden---------- already have somethign in mind for the large pot

cheers davey

21 Apr, 2010

Good luck with it - but that's not very long for it to 'pick up'...I'd leave it longer, personally, but it's your plant!

21 Apr, 2010

indeed it is need the pot for a miniature apple tree i have in mind

cheers davey

21 Apr, 2010

Is the plant a phormium davey? they look similar but the leaves are 1inch wide whilst libertia are half the width. And phormiums flop badly when frosted.

21 Apr, 2010

just bought one :):) nice it changes colour

14 Apr, 2011

Mine look a bit sorry for themselves after the winter, so one job on my list is to get out there with the scissors.

15 Apr, 2011

should come back well hopefully for you :):):)

15 Apr, 2011

I do hope so, Paul. At least they survived! :-/
