Lychnis arkwrightii 'Orange Gnome'

Lychnis arkwrightii 'Orange Gnome' (Lychnis arkwrightii)

Here are the flowers, a really wonderful bunch of them this year. I like how they contrast with the plant itself, and they are large and showy. This will be carefully placed in the new garden to take advantage of all these wonderful attributes. :-)

Thank you Janey. I just love this plant. I'm hoping the new sunny spot is sunny enough to get this again. I'll be laying out and planting the new garden beds all weekend and this will get a special spot.

fantastic colors

Janey, I found a place on the hill above my old place, very close. The move has been smooth. It is all golden these days and when I flew out of the city today, the rain was becoming sleet with big ice chunks falling. I may have a white wonderland to come back too. I'm down on the alaska panhandle in Juneau for a few weeks.

Thank you Aleyna. It is just so bright.

Thank you so much, Moti, Homebird and Balcony. I am so pleased to have this one. It was purchased out of bloom and I had no idea. Now it is one of my favorite.

I'm so excited for you. It really knocks my socks off. I do get an odd color after blooming finishes, and spots, just so your ready if that happens. They are simple and straight forward. Sow 6-8 weeks before last frost lightly covered and keep moist till germination. You can cover with plastic, some do. Plant out and watch! Good luck Moti. :-)
