Thank Sheila! I wish mine had grown like this! Mine has been planted for several years and hasn’t grown more than 2 feet!!!! Still alive though!

That looks like a warm September day. We haven't had any of those here this year so it's nice to see this photo :)

Hi Kate. We had a Virginia creeper growing along the fence where we used to live just down the road, but had to keep it well pruned as it grew a LOT in one year.

It looks lovely! You know , you could make a book of Lincolnshire with all the pictures you take Kate! Something nice to look back on!

It looks absolutely gorgeous, I bought one this year , I'm a little worried as it's on an old wooden fence I'm not sure how much it can stand once it grows ..

We had it growing up the wall of our house but it suddenly died last year and I really miss it.
The one in your photo is beautiful.

Thanks everyone, I’m just back from visiting my parents in Ayrshire, so catching up.
Lovely comments form you all!!!! It was such a lovely day when I took the pics! Mild and sunny with lots of autumnal colour starting to emerge!
Ps. Rose, that’s a smashing idea! Food for thought there!
Chris, that’s such a shame..are you thinking of planting another in its place?
Amy, mine is on a fence and it’s hardly grown in a matter of two or three years… as Julia said, it may just flourish before you know it!
