Ive been after this one for a while Janey, it's stunning. I guess the birds will appreciate the fruits even if you can't eat them!

Nice Janey - you always seem to buy trees with long, unusual names, lol.

Thanks Paul...:o)
Ha..it does Hb...I found it quite funny seeing it on the label, I'm not sure how old it is, but the little tree had grown round the label string!
It does look a very pretty tree Karen, I'll shape it a bit better after it's flowered and try and root you one of the cuttings.
Thanks Dd, Lol Dawn, well I had to give it it's proper title!...:o)

I don't blame you Janey , I have often put off having something in the past and then changed my mind , when you go back it has almost always gone ! you can always have cornbeef hash next week ,where as you will enjoy these beauties for years to come ... BTW .. i'm so disappointed , I was going to send you some 'Bishop of Landorf ' Dalhia tubers but I can't the winter has turned them to horrible mush , sorry :o((

Lol cornbeef hash...now that is an idea!
That's a shame about your lovely Dahlias Amy, thanks so much for the thought though...:o) I did look at some at the GC where I bought the trees, and they were really soft, I somehow think it may not be a Dahlia year this year. I lost all mine when the snows came....:o((

Thanks Cristina...me too!...:o)
Great Sheila....we'll compare notes...Lol! Last night I was looking through Tsuyoshi's gallery of photos, he hasn't been on for quite a while, there are some stunning flowering cherries and apricots.
The avatar pic was taken on the way to the Blue Mountains, (I had a look at my pics after pm'ing you). It was an indoor plant in the lobby of a restaurant, and it was stunning! But no idea , didn't get to ask them....:o((

Oh right . . . something Australian then! It's gorgeous - I wonder if someone on here could ID it??
24 Feb, 2011
I've put it on the questions Sheila...a much larger photo there to see....it is a beauty. I remember it was more like a small tree.
