Thanks! :-))

13 Apr, 2010

Love the pink ones :-))

14 Apr, 2010

I was very lucky to find it....

14 Apr, 2010

Yes, these pink ones are gorgeous :-)

14 Apr, 2010

Now how did I know you'd like it, Louise? :-)

14 Apr, 2010

Do you need light soil for these - also do the slugs stay off?

14 Apr, 2010

I have snails (grrr!) not slugs (don't know why??) and they haven't bothered with the others I have. My soil is free-draining, but not particularly light, Sarah.

14 Apr, 2010

Sarah, mine are in a very light soil, it's probably as bad a soil as it gets there .... but this thrives there !

14 Apr, 2010

Hmm this is not encouraging - I have rich thick sluggy soil which is really soggy. I may have to get round to creating a bit of builders rubble!

14 Apr, 2010

Quick, i'm on my way ...... i've enough here to supply all of West Sussex :-(

14 Apr, 2010

Did you want some slugs Spritz?? I have loads!!!! lol :~))

15 Apr, 2010

I thought you might mean pulsatillas Louise and got really excited :-) but then realised you meant builders rubble :- ( lol.

15 Apr, 2010

Did you want some free slugs too Sussexsarah, I've got plenty! lol

15 Apr, 2010

LOL, sorry Sarah !!!!

15 Apr, 2010

Only if we can swap snails for slugs, Flori! lol.

15 Apr, 2010

No, have got plenty of those too, thanks Spritz, but generous of you to offer my friend! LOL :~))

16 Apr, 2010

I could send you some for FREE???

16 Apr, 2010

Very generous of you my friend, but am not into Exchange mollusc's! Have you thought of firing some over to France?, better check your trajectory, specially if the wind's in the wrong direction lol!!! If I set my slugs off to you now, you might get them in, oh, June/July time, all depending on their sense of direction of course!! You'll recognise them, they'll have little daffs behind their ears and answer to the name Eric! :~))

16 Apr, 2010

Flori - your geography is terrible! I could send them to Wales, across the Bristol Channel, I suppose - but the wind would have to be in the right direction. France? Too far!! They do fly - into the stream for a swim....heehee, but not to France...

16 Apr, 2010

Don't think Hywel into frying snails, probably got enough of his own lol, but the French now.....they do love them so I've been told, so perfect use of recycling don't you think?????? Darn, never was much use at directions, how about parceling them up and posting them by 'Snail Mail' instead??

16 Apr, 2010

Who to? (or should that say 'to whom?' lol.

16 Apr, 2010

Well, it's our French cousins who insist on cooking them, so was thinking that was a good place to start..........lol :~))

16 Apr, 2010

What I meant was - 'to whom do I address the package'?? M. et Mme Qui?

16 Apr, 2010

Oh that..........it's just a minor technicality Spritz, just look up any Restaurant with a Michelin star or two, I'm sure they would love 'em! lol Have just set my Erics off in your direction by the way......tee hee hee :~))

16 Apr, 2010

Thank you VERY much, Flori - I appreciate that. :-))))) Let's hope the postman loses the parcel in the sorting office....

16 Apr, 2010

You don't want that to happen Spritz you might just get them back if they return to sender, you WANT to rehome your snails! My slugs are going by foot? er feet? er slime trail? over to Somerset, a good army marches on its stomach so they say, and these little pesky mites really do!!! lol :~)))

16 Apr, 2010

Oh NO - let's hope they get run over on the way, or homesick, heehee.

16 Apr, 2010

I've told them all about you Spritz, they are so looking forward to moving in with you....tee hee hee. Have sent them across country so they can have lunch on the way........:~))x

16 Apr, 2010

Whose garden are they visiting for lunch? Shouldn't we warn them? ;-/

17 Apr, 2010

Not seen a pink flowered one before. Very nice.

19 Apr, 2010

Thank you Linda. :-))

19 Apr, 2010

Beautiful! I've not seen this colour before,it's lovely.

19 Apr, 2010

I was very pleased to come across it, too! :-)

19 Apr, 2010

Love the slug/snail comedy!! :))))

19 Apr, 2010

Comedy? Who's laughing? ;-O

19 Apr, 2010

Tee hee hee.......Well I am for one! Are you sure thats not just a tiny smile breaking from your lips now Spritz....? I think it just maybe you know........go on...., you know you want too.....! :~))

21 Apr, 2010

Nope - not after this morning, Flori - the badgers have dug a new tunnel, and my lawn/s look like ploughed fields! Boo hoo!!! I'm crying, not laughing! :-((((

21 Apr, 2010

Oh that blasted Badger Liberation Front Spritz!! Am so sorry to hear that Spritz, as know they are the bane of your life, I had thought the electric fence would be sure to deter the little blighters, what is it about your garden that they just won't leave it alone???? Maybe we need to go back to the Jasper Carrot idea.....:~((

21 Apr, 2010

The new tunnel is further along the same fence - so hmmm...Jasper Carrott can wait until OH has extended the electric fence, which DOES work!

I must have superior worms in here! LOL.

22 Apr, 2010

Lol, well you certainly have superior plants so wouldn't surprise me Spritz :~))

22 Apr, 2010

Oh FLORI - stop embarassing me!! Blush, blush!

22 Apr, 2010

Hey! I can feel the heat from that blush all the way over here Spritz!! Is it you responsible for all this global warming over there in Somerset???? :~))

22 Apr, 2010

No - I normally hide my blushes under a scarf...LOL.
