A very nice photo Louise, I planted mine last October and it started blooming early and is still covered with blossoms. Only the weight of the flowers has made it droop a bit.

Reminds me how lovely the one I had was. May need to think again after seeing how beautiful yours looks, and you are right about the pure whiteness of the flowers. I am def going to sneak another rose or two in the new borders without mentioning it to Geoff as he doesn't like them (strange man!)

I didn't used to want them in a mixed border but these 3' shrub roses, aswell as miniatures and ground-cover ones are very useful.
Does Geoff have a large 'say' in the garden and planting then ?

No Louise, he only thinks he does lol! He lets me have my way as I have been the gardener for the longest.

They really lift a semi shade area, Floralhead, this one's in shade from about 3pm and stops the gloom there !

Thanks Moti, i'm really pleased with this plant and it's perfect in that spot, you're quite right, siting it in a shadier part accentuates its beauty :-)))
