Thanks all, this is a bit taken off my main one which actually grows out from deep under fir tree, from the days when I still planted shrubs too close to each other! If any one wants a root of it in the autumn? let me know.

I've got a white one of these, about 3 years old, that needs moved from my project corner, is autumn best time to lift? Mines is startling to try and spread at the moment, bits popping up all round it.

Yes autumn is best Magna, which White Spirea have you got?

Erm......"Poundlandica fluffycus" lol - No idea sorry - another poundland purchase- "think" I got it as a dormant root...got that and a dogwood at same time - the dogwood either died,or never came out of hybernation.... You can kind of see my white one in the pics I added to my blog today. Will put a better pic up later, its got a lovely pale yellow/green leaf and very large flower bracts? (is that right term?) Its about 4" tall - I do give it a bit of a chop every year or it would be taller! I just deadheaded it again last night too, and could see lots of new buds...hopefully be more flowers on it soon :) Think I may request a piece of this one from you in a few weeks :) You are welcome to a part of my white one if you need it.... :) x
