is it a sort of passion flower the leaves look the same.

No it's not. Passion flower is the passiflora family. This is a tropaeolum and is related to the nasturiums we grow as annuals

Hi Andrewr,
is this the one that flower in Winter and is dormant in the Summer?
13 Mar, 2009
Yes it is Ualda

Thanx Andrewr!
Do you know if I can grow it in the garden? ( I am in London )

As it's not hardy, you would need to grow it in a pot and bring it inside during the winter. I tried to cheat and planted it under a prostrate conifer but then of course, we got a bad winter and I''ve lost it :-(

:( It's a shame
- I really like it but I do not have space for it in the house but I got a medium size plastic green house with a little heater, do you reckon I could keep it there in the winter? My little new Mimosa is doing fine in there.

That depends on how cold it gets dring the winter. As it's only a small plant, you could bring it inside if we have a very cold night and then put it out again
