They are my favourite colour Janey and haven't they flowered well this year , I've been waiting to put other plants in but they are still looking good , I can't take them out yet ......

They've been great Amy and Carole, they look so happy with those whiskery faces...I haven't the heart to uproot them...:o( It is a bit cold yet though for our summer plants........

I had many Violas just like this one a year ago on my balcony & like you, Amy, I couldn't bring myself to pulling them out while they still had a lot of flowers! I don't have any this year but I do hope to get some more for next year. I think Violas tolerate windy conditions better than Pansies. I would like to plant some in my clay pots that are set in rings on the balcony railings. The Crocuses in them are still doing well. In the same pots I have Snapdragons (Antirrhinum) & Fuchsias & all are doing just fine, thank you very much!
