Morning everyone,
Just a quick blog. I was rudely awoken today – Easter Sunday at 8.30!!! by someone from the Green party very noisily opening and closing my gate, banging it loudly infact to drop a leaflet on my mat!!! Have politician got no lives?? Easter Sunday the one day I could have had a lye in. I jumped out of my bed thinking it was something important, no just a man who can’t sleep with a leaflet!!!

I was annoyed, went into the kitchen to make myself a cup of tea, and then I saw him. Mr Bluetit was poking his head into the bird box!! Then he flew around the garden as if he were checking it out (he’s done this many times); stopped to feed on the bird feeder. I swear he nodded at me, he did, he really did lol and then he flew away. I ran upstairs to get my camera thinking he might come back later. But as yet he hasn’t returned. I really hope they nest here this year. We have been waiting so long for tenants in our bird box. We will keep our fingers crossed.

Sparrows used to be quite rare in London, so we started putting up feeders, I think alot of people did around here. Now I am glad to say we have them in abundance. Sadly wood pigeons and crows also!!
