Easter a busy time

Hi everyone. Happy Easter. I had such high hopes of getting the garden sorted out over the Easter break. I have woken up this morning and feel absolutely awful. I have a tummy problem that has come back with a vengeance and I am also anaemic, I have no energy to do anything, apart from talk to you lovely people. I don’t mean to upset anybody or make you feel sorry for me. I guess I just need cheering up! It is dark and dismal here and I know some of you have worse weather, a lot worse than we have here. It’s not fair is it?
So I will look at this site often today to see what you all are up to. I have seen some beautiful photos today, and look forward to seeing many more.

My potatoes are ready to plant, hopefully they won’t mind getting planted in a few days time ha ha

If you can get out in your gardens have a relaxing and productive time. To all the new friends I have found today, thank you for answering my questions and for being so nice, to all my old friends (of 2 weeks lol) thank you also
Happy gardening and hope you all have a lovely Easter dinner x

Hello Great, poor you feeling so awful. I do hope it doesn't last long and that you take something for your anaemia, and hope your 'flare-up' soon goes.
I gather that you work in a school, so there's hope that you'll feel well enough before the break is over, I do hope so. Get well soon.

Hello Great...
If it is any consolation, the weather this Easter in many parts of the UK is cold, windy and wet, so even if you felt fit, your garden tasks could have been delayed.
I hope you feel better soon and also Tulsalady.. :o)

Hello Great, hope you get better soon.i've been sick myself for the last few days,as miserable as the weather ;-( Just stuck my nose outside for couple of minutes and ran back in.
Guess it's better to be ill when it's bad outside anyway...

You know your right Treesandthi and Columbine better to be ill when the weather is rotten. I think I would be kicking myself if it was lovely and sunny and I couldn't do anything.

Hello Great, stay indoors and hopefully build up your energy for when the weather gets better. I think it`s trying the patience of all of us.

Thank you stroller. I wonder why rain makes us feel miserable?? perhaps its because drops of water look like tear drops?? who knows. Anyway I was just telling Bloomer that I had a look through my kitchen window and saw my tulips coming into flower that cheered me up. Plus I've seen the bluetits on the bird feeder

It's awful here too Great, so cold... and the rain has started again. Everywhere is sodden. I think rain makes us feel awful because it is always so grey and dark with it, and cold. A warm rain and sunny sky probably would be a different thing! Tuck up and keep warm, hopefully when you feel better the weather will have improved and you can swing into action in your garden! :-))

sorry to hear your not feeling well pauline, the weather is to bad here for me to venture out (infact its persisting down) so your not missing anything reserve your energy for when the weather is better

Hope your tummy feels better soon Great, We all need some warm spring sunshine to charge up our batteries. Your spuds will grow and ripen just the same if planted late, just lie about the date, they won't know the difference. :-))

Clarice you must be the only one of us where its not raining, does tthat sound right, feeling a bit odd at the mo must be the painkillers. Thanks viv Resting as much as possible.
Heron thank you, I am feeling a lot better now, a bit odd as I said before but a lot better than this morning. Just had a little stroll around my soggy garden, my onion sets are just peeping through the soil, the tulips are almost about to burst into flower and Ive seen my blue tits feeding. So all in all I feel alot happier. Thank you everyone for your kind wishes.

Still wet here so I'm sitting here wearing my headphones listening to Shirley Bassey sing to me.. "Come on baby light my fire" !

It sounds like you need some TLC You must feel awful, having a Tummy
Bug means no Chocolate for you...Are you on Iron tablets for your
Anaemia?...As your upset Tummy, could be the side-effects of the Iron
tablets, if you have to take a course of them. I do not think any of us
will be able to get out into our Gardens until Sunday or Monday...So
the Forecast tells me....Cheer up, you may feel a lot better by then...
i am sending my best wishes to you Tulsalady, hope you will soon be
feeling better x Once again cheer up Great...Should not be too long
before you are in your Garden again...
