Streeming

This isn’t strictly about gardening but On here we’re often discussing programmes on TV like GW. I’d be interested to know if any of you are (like me) unable to use the BBC iplayer. I’ve complained to BT but the ‘test’ they gave me showed a good speed, but as Mandy Rice-Davies once said “They would say that wouldn’t they” It seems unfair to me that I have to pay the same as those in Towns and Cities who get a good signal.

I watched it last night, first time I've used BBC iPlayer, twice I lost the picture for a few seconds, it came back ok. Not being a tecchie I left it to its' own devices ! Good luck with it in the future. : o )

Yes, Megan, that's exactly what happened to me. I could hear the sound still, but the picture went, and then came back.

I can get the Iplayer but the computer is so slow sometimes that I just leave it for another time. I hope something will be done soon for you to be able to use the I-player. It's very handy.

Try downloading the programmes instead - the download programme is free from iplayer and works after a few teething problems though it is slow - that way you dont get thrown off if there are too many other people using the broadband.

I live in a rural area, Heron, and I can get it OK, even though our Broadband speed is slow. Have you checked with your neighbours?? (if you can find any lol)
