San Antonio/Seguin (Texas) cute ideas

We had a blast visiting our daughter and son-in-law in Seguin, Tx – outskirts of San Antonio. I’d have to write a novel to incorporate all the things my daughter can fill into 3 days time, but thought you might be interested in her landlady’s flowers. She graciously consented to my taking pictures and I just had to share.
We loved the whimsical planters, and I might just “borrow” from her ideas; I’ve seen them before, but they always bring a smile and good cheer.
And, of course, let’s not forget the purple heart (setcreasea purpurea) all set to travel.
This was the most elaborate display of color; who would have thought purple and yellow, but it was gorgeous. Hope you enjoy them as much as I did!

The setcreasea is a lovely colour. I had one once but here you have to treat it as a house plant

I just love unusual planters but don't have the room for bedsteads and baths. That little seat is a really nice idea and one I can blatantly pinch/copy. Lol ;~))

Thank you everyone; I'm looking forward to "pinching" one of these ideas myself. %>
