Adventure in the air

When I awoke this morning, I thought I smelled candy apples and cotton candy. The air was a bit chillier than usual, so I guess I was thinking about the State Fair that comes in October. Also, this month, we’ll be taking two weekend adventures, both to Texas. Big adventure you say? Well, we live in Louisiana and even though the boundaries touch, they are worlds apart.
I purchased several packets of seeds from the local Nursery, and pilched some seeds from a hugh red hibiscus that grows at my mom’s assisted living center. So, when we return from two weekends of scouting, I’ll spend hours in the greenhouse. We will also be on the lookout for interesting plants!
Hope to return with some good photos, and I’ll be interested to see the new photos you have published. Maybe we can share a caramel apple on opposite sides of the planet… (or coffee).
